GM Diskette (Experimental, Speculative Piece)

(CAT) Peça de disseny especulatiu materialitzada en un disquet de 5¼", concebuda a partir d'una identitat gràfica inspirada en les fundes comercials que acompanyaven aquest suport durant les dècades dels 70 i 80.
   Recuperant un objecte obsolet, el projecte reflexiona sobre els ritmes de producció del disseny contemporani i la repetició constant dels seus processos. L'espiral i el bucle esdevenen el fil conductor conceptual i visual d'una peça que qüestiona la relació entre tecnologia, producció i permanència.
 
(ENG) A speculative design piece materialised as a 5¼-inch floppy disk, developed through a graphic identity inspired by the commercial sleeves that accompanied the medium throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
    By revisiting this obsolete storage format, the project reflects on the pace of contemporary design production and the repetitive nature of its processes. The spiral and the loop become the conceptual and visual thread of a piece that questions the relationship between technology, production, and permanence.
